How can Europe be more innovative?

Ernst & Young would like to thank everybody for attending or showing interest in our “Government x Business = innovation2” Summit which took place the 4th of May.

We are proud to have been able to welcome interesting and brilliant speakers such as Herman Van Rompuy and Charles Leadbeater at this wonderful occasion.
We hope you enjoyed the conference and the different break-out sessions.

Because innovation will remain a very urgent and important topic on the European Union’s agenda and for the competitiveness of the European business community, we would like to offer you the opportunity to watch both keynotes and other important take-outs of the event again under the section ‘webcast’.

You can also find pictures of the event and the participants on this website as well as the CEPS study “Next generation innovation policy” under the section ‘background documents’.

Our media partner EUobserver has developed a ‘focus section’ dedicated to innovation.

Different interviews with the participants of the event, articles on innovation and related topics can be found on this section through the following link: http://euobserver.com/894.

The study “Next generation innovation policy” which was developed by CEPS (Centre for European Policy Studies) together with Ernst & Young shows how the EU-policy is failing or succeeding in stimulating innovation. The study also provides an outlook on which policy initiatives can further stimulate innovation and entrepreneurship within the EU.
